Last week Erik started getting sick and by Wednesday he sounded awful. I took him to the doctors Wednesday and found out that he had RSV. His oxygen was low so they admitted him to Davis Hospital. We ended up being there until Saturday. It was an absolute nightmare. Erik did pretty well, but it was extremely boring. Not to mention they are in the middle of construction over at the hospital. Our room was right above part of the construction. We could hear everything. The floor even shook. Most of the nurses were nice, but a few of them hardly ever came in to check on Erik. I just hope we never have to go through this again. I'm so glad to be home, but I am so paranoid now about keeping germs away. RSV can come back again and again. It truely haunts me to even think about it.
Josh fell asleep first and then Madison climbed on his back and went to sleep. They like to nap together. She also likes to hug things when she sleeps. In this case she is hugging the phone.
The only good thing about snow is sledding. We love sledding and so does Madison. She walked up this huge hill by herself. She would hurry up and jump back on the sled so that no one else would take her sled. She is so funny.
Mr. Marathon runner
This year Josh has ran 7 full marathons and 2 half marathons. He plays soccer and runs marathons. The rest of the time he is a good family man. He is a great father and husband.
Rachel
This year I have ran 1 half marathon. I have also gone on a 30 mile bike tour. I definitely like biking better. I have been trying to get in better shape since I have had my two kids. I'm finally fitting back into pants that I haven't fit into since before I had Madison. Life is good. I love my family. I'm so excited for the holidays. :)
Madison
Madison is three years old. She is so smart. She is in her first year of preschool and she loves it. She has so much fun with Erik. She likes to make silly faces.
Erik
Erik is already one years old. I can't believe how fast this last year has gone by. He is such a little stinker, but he is so cute. He knows that he is trouble. He likes to climb and attack Madisons food. He is a very good eater. He likes green beans and peas. He also eats peaches, pears, apples, and cherries. He is the best eater in our house.
